Who We Are

A Charity That Teaches to Feed People

World Peace Charity is a registered non-profit in Rishikesh. Our main work is simple and daily: hot vegetarian meals cooked fresh and served on the street, to whoever needs one. No queue is turned away and nobody is asked who they are.

The centre pays for that work. We run 200, 300 and 500-hour yoga teacher training courses and shorter retreats in the Himalayan foothills beside the Ganges — and what they raise goes into the next day of cooking rather than to a shareholder.

Groups stay small and our teachers live on campus, so instruction is personal rather than delivered to a room. Trainees who want to join the food round are welcome to — most do, and nobody is made to.

What Makes Us Different

01

A Registered Non-Profit

No owner, no shareholder. What comes in pays for the work and the people doing it.

02

Teachers Who Live Here

Our teachers stay on campus, so you practise with the same faces every day.

03

Twelve Students, Never More

Past twelve a teacher stops correcting people and starts managing a room.

04

Not for Profit

Course fees fund the charity's work. Nothing is drawn out as profit.

05

You Can Join the Round

Students who want to help serve are welcome. Most do. Nobody is made to.

Small class sizes meant I got real personal attention. I arrived nervous as a beginner and left feeling confident enough to teach.

I did the 300-hour advanced course and it exceeded every expectation. The anatomy modules in particular were outstanding.
